Eco Beach Resort

Experienced in tropical design, Gillard Associates developed a prototype cabana based on the Malay vernacular which would provide a comfortable homestay with minimum impact on the environment. All materials are available locally. Electricity is provided by solar cells, and eventually by a small steam engine running on coconut husks. Foul waste will be to earth closets situated under cabanas.
