Sustainable Housing

Set on the boundary of suburbia and open countryside this community orientated development attempts to restore a dangerously neglected farm with a high quality sustainable housing development. We seek to establish a small community of dwellings designed to reflect the scale and character of agricultural buildings which used to form the original farmstead, which is now sadly abandoned and awaiting a new use. Rather than divide up the available land within the settlement boundary for conventional housing plots, the proposals are for a residential development that shares amenity and energy with a biomass district heating system to serve all dwellings on the site.
