Casa del Monte
Casa del Monte is a C19th Italian farmhouse under restoration. It is completely autonomous and generates all power from pv cells and a wind turbine. Fuel is biomass cut from surrounding woodland; water is supplied from aquifers and rainwater is harvested. All carpentry and stone walling was carried out and repaired by the architect, Alan Gillard.
