High Density Housing

We have recently won a competition to design a mixed housing development on a large brownfield site in South Wales. Our maximum density scheme shown here was the basis for the competition win and delivers extremely efficient and low cost prefabricated housing based around our prototype ComfoBox TM House developed earlier in the year. As the site of an old steelworks, there are a unique set of constraints which helped to form the masterplan creating a contextual response that far exceeded the brief. Our concept involves using terrace housing, a successful local house type that is efficient, safe by design, and quick to build. All houses are served by a central energy centre, have access to managed allotments, and are built within a green belt fitness trail.
